The new Township Council and Mayor were sworn in today before a very large audience which packed the Council Chambers, making for standing room only.

Municipal Clerk Linda Wanat presided over the oaths of office and former First Ward Councilor Gerry Tobin presented Mayor Jerry Fried with a gavel – appropriately decorated with a small bicycle chain tied with ribbon.
