All citizens are reminded that the Police Department's notification system is still operational and is being supplemented by the new emergency alert system.  Together these systems will increase our ability to get important information to our citizens. This system gives the Police Department the ability to send out urgent or emergency notifications to the residents of Montclair with just a few clicks of a computer mouse. Notifications can be sent out to the entire town or to specific blocks of streets that are pre-set based on the Township map.

Please remember that any residents that have published phone numbers are already in the System Database. However, if you have an unpublished phone number and would like be able to receive emergency notifications you can add your number or your cell phone number by calling (888) 221-0002.

If you choose not to receive urgent messages from the Township you may remove your telephone number from the notification list by simply calling the toll free number previously mentioned.
