ORDINANCES – SECOND READING/ADOPTION
- Bond Ordinance providing for various capital improvements of the Township of Montclair appropriating the aggregate amount of $2,220,000 therefor and authorizing the issuance of $2,109,000 bonds or notes of the Township to finance part of the cost thereof. Introduced and passed first reading February 19, 2008. Is there anyone present who wishes to be heard in relation to the proposed ordinance? CLOSE HEARING. VOTE. (08-10)
- Bond Ordinance providing for various improvements to the sewer system of the Township of Montclair appropriating the aggregate amount of $600,000 therefor and authorizing the issuance of $570,000 bonds or notes of the Township to finance part of the cost thereof. Introduced and passed first reading February 19, 2008. Is there anyone present who wishes to be heard in relation to the proposed ordinance? CLOSE HEARING. VOTE. (08-11).
- Ordinance amending the Elm/New & Mission Area Redevelopment Plan pursuant to the New Jersey Local Redevelopment and Housing Law. Is there anyone present who wishes to be heard in relation to the proposed ordinance? CLOSE HEARING. VOTE. (08-12).

There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Councilmember or citizen so request, in which event the item will be removed from the General Order of Business and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. They will, however, be read by title and displayed in the Council chambers.

- Resolution authorizing the execution of a professional services agreement for Municipal auditors for the Township of Montclair (R-08-32)
- Resolution directing the placement of lines or markings on the curb and/or street to prohibit parking within four feet of driveways on Lorraine Avenue between Valley Road and Norwood Avenue (R-08-33)
- Resolution adopting policies and procedures for the cable television station (R-08-34)
- Resolution of the Township of Montclair making application to the Local Finance board pursuant to N.J.S.A.40A:2-26(b) (R-08-35)
- Resolution authorizing the execution of a recycling agreement with Zozzaro Brothers, Inc. for the sale and disposition of recyclable materials recovered through the Township’s Recycling Program (R-08-36)

If there is anyone present who wishes to address the Council on any matter of Township interest or importance we will be glad to hear from him or her at this time. The Council welcomes public comment at its meetings. However, because of the constraints of time and in fairness to all members of the public, the Council asks that you please limit your comments to five minutes, in order to allow everyone an opportunity to be heard.
