POOLS SCHEDULE

Pools open May 24 for the 2008 summer season.

Montclair Township pools open for the 2008 swim season Saturday, May 24 for weekends only from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Beginning June 23, 2008 the Hours of Operation will be: Monday - Friday 1:00-7:00 p.m.; Weekends and Holidays 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Nishuane Pool: Located in Nishuane Park at the corner of Cedar Avenue and High Street.

Mountainside Pool: Located in Mountainside Park on Upper Mountain Avenue (in the 500 block) across from the Presby Memorial Iris Gardens

PLEASE NOTE: Mountainside Pool will close at 4:00 p.m. on July 4th for the preparation of the fireworks display in Mountainside Park.

Swimming Lessons: Available at all locations. Check with individual pools for scheduling.

Snack and beverage vending available at all locations.

TENNIS COURT HOURS

8:00 a.m. - Dusk. Clay courts open May 1 - October 31.

Group tennis lessons will once again be offered at Mountainside, Nishuane and Rand tennis courts. Classes will be offered to children ages 5 through 15 years and also for adults. All tennis classes will meet for a total of 6 – one-hour sessions beginning June 30 and running through August 8, 2008. The fee is $45 for each session.
