Sewer bills for calendar 2008 will be mailed out the week of May 27th, 2008. Your charge for the year is shown in the center portion of the bill. You may pay your bill in two installments. Installment payment stubs are provided for your convenience on the bottom of the bill. Payments must be made by the dates indicated. June 30, 2008 is the due date for the first installment, and December 1, 2008 is the due date for the second installment. THIS IS THE ONLY BILL YOU WILL RECEIVE FOR 2008.

Your bill is made up of two components: a capacity charge and a treatment charge. The capacity charge is based on meter size and covers Township maintenance of the sewer system. The treatment charge is a pass-through of what the Township is charged by the Passaic Valley Sewage Commission to treat the wastewater discharged by all residents and businesses in town.
