The Shuttle Service runs on weekdays only. No holiday or weekend service is provided.
The Shuttle service will not run if the Montclair Public Schools are closed or scheduled for delayed opening. Bus service follows the Board of Education's Emergency School Schedule during inclement weather. Radio broadcasts of emergency school closings can be obtained by turning into WOR 710 AM, WINS 1010 AM, or WNJR 1430 AM from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., or by logging on to www.wor710.com from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. You may also contact the Department of Community Services at 973-509-5700.
In the event that the Shuttle Bus does not run, riders will be responsible for making private arrangements for their commute.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Shuttle Bus will provide transportation for Montclair residents in the area of the bus route to the Bay Street Station. (SEE SCHEDULE)
WHERE DOES IT GO?
Morning Shuttle Bus:
- Begins at the intersection of Bloomfield Ave. and South Mountain Ave.
- Travels south along South Mountain Ave. to Llewellyn Rd.
- Left on Llwellyn Rd. to Harrison Ave.
- Across Harrison Ave. to the junction of Llewellyn Rd. and Orange Rd./Elm St.
- Left on Elm Street to Lincoln St.
- Right on Lincoln St. to Maple Ave.
- Left on Maple Ave across Bloomfield Ave. to Pine St.
- Final stop at the New Jersey Transit Bay Street State
P.M. Service follows the reverse of the above.
WHAT IS THE FARE?
The fare is $0.50 each way, pay as you board the suttle bus.
ADA COMPLIANCE
