The Shuttle Service runs on weekday evebubgs only. No morning, holiday, or weekend service is provided.
In the event that the Shuttle Bus does not run, riders will be responsible for making private arrangements for their commute.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Shuttle Bus will provide transportation for Montclair residents in the area of the bus route from the Bay Street Station.

- New Jersey Transit Bay Street Station
- Pine St. across Bloomfield Ave. to Maple Ave.
- Maple Ave. to Lincoln S.
- Lincoln St. to Elm St.
- Junction of Orange Rd./Elm St. and Levellyn Rd. to Harrison Ave.
- Harrison Ave. to Llewellyn Rd.
- Llewellyn Rd. to South Mountain Ave.
- Intersection of Bloomfield and South Mountain Avenues.
WHAT IS THE FARE?
The fare is $2.00 each way, pay as you board the shuttle bus - exact change is required. Montly passes are available through the Municipal Clerk's Office at a reduced rate. The Municipal Clerk's Office is located at 205 Claremont Avenue (first floor), Montclair. The phone number is 973-509-4900.
ADA COMPLIANCE
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Shuttle Bus is equipped with a wheelchair lift. The Department of Community Services must be notified in advance of any person requiring the accommodation of the wheelchair lift. Phone number: 973-509-5711. |
