TENNIS COURT REGULATIONS

1. COURT USE: Court use is restricted
to those holding a valid tennis permit or those who
have paid the guest fee.
2. PERMITS: Players must present
their permits to the attendant on duty. Permits remain
the
property of RCA and must be surrendered upon request
of Departmental staff. Permits are NOT TRANSFERABLE.
3.
PLAYING TIME: Playing time is restricted to one (1)
hour. No player may play more than one hour when
others
are waiting
or if all courts are occupied. One player may not
hold or occupy a court alone if others are waiting
to play.
4. SCHEDULED MATCHES: Recreation Department
matches, scholastic competitions, or Recreation Department
clinics will have
precedence over open play.
5. PRIVATE LESSONS:
No private instruction will be permitted during the
following hours: 8:00
am to 12:00
pm., Saturdays,
Sundays, and/or Holidays Professional instruction
is RESTRICTED to those holding a valid Instructor's
permit
available at
the RCA Office.
6. BALL LIMIT: Only three balls
per court are permitted.
7. APPAREL: All players must
wear tennis sneakers and shirts when using the courts.
Only smooth-soled
or soft
soles are
allowed.
8. OTHER ACTIVITIES: Courts are
to be used ONLY for tennis. Bicycles, skateboards,
rollerblades, street
hockey or any
other activities are not permitted.
9.
RESERVATIONS: Courts are reserved on a first-come, first-served
basis.
10. RESPONSIBILITIES: All users of Township
courts are responsible for keeping
courts clean and safe.
Players
are to remove
ball cans and lids, beverage containers,
and any other material brought onto
the courts.
GLASS
CONTAINERS OF ANY KIND ARE
STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
11. ADHERENCE
TO RULES: Any person who violates any of the above regulations
or any park
regulation will
be subject
to revocation of their permit and/or
playing privileges. |
