Montclair and Verona Health Departments join Clara Maas Medical Center to host a Women’s Health Expo. Do you hesitate to book your preventative screenings? Do you even know which ones you should be getting and how often? Join Clara Maas Medical Center experts for a conversation about women’s health. This will be a conversation with the audience asking questions to our panel.

Free blood pressure and glucose screening available. You will also have the opportunity sign-up for other free or low cost screenings. Light refreshments will be served.

This valuable event will take place on Wednesday, October 29, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at The Verona Community Center, 880 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, NJ. Please call 973-509-4969 to reserve your seat.

Residents are asked to make every effort to pay outstanding 2013 property taxes, water and sewer charges. The tax sale will take place October 21, 2014.

No Personal, Business or On Line Checks or On Line Payments will be accepted. Certified Check, Bank Check, Cash are the only forms of payment that will be accepted. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.

Shelter Dogs Bonnie and Olga Find Forever Homes PDF Print E-mail

Bonnie adoptedBonnie and Olga, two canine cuties at the Montclair Animal Shelter, have found forever homes, thanks to the tremendous efforts of shelter volunteers who host adoption events at the Walnut Street Farmers’ Market.

Bonnie, a 5-year-old Beagle was a stray who was picked up by one of the Montclair Animal Shelter’s Animal Control Officers in July. Her new family spotted her having her photo taken during at the Farmers’ Market last month. They fell in love with Bonnie – now named Penny -- and she with them.
