Montclair Health Department: the Importance of Vaccinations

Do I Need Any Vaccinations Today?

Many adults are behind on their vaccinations. Download and fill out a questionnaire that will help you and your healthcare provider determine if you need any vaccinations today. Check the boxes on the questionnaire that apply to you.

Are your children 11–19 years old?

If yes, then they need to be vaccinated against these serious diseases (download PDF).

People between the ages of 11 and 19 are not done with their vaccinations –- vaccinations are not just for small children. There are millions of people between the ages of 11 and 19 who need vaccinations to prevent diseases like whooping cough, hepatitis B, hepatitis A, chickenpox, measles, mumps, influenza, meningitis, and human papillomavirus infection.

Getting immunized is a lifelong, life-protecting job. Make sure you and your healthcare provider keep your and your children’s immunizations up to date. Check to be sure you and your kids have had all the vaccinations you need.

The Montclair Health Department provides adult and adolescent vaccine clinics every first and third Monday of each month, from 1:00 to 3:45 p.m. (unless the Monday falls on a holiday). For more information, contact the Montclair Health Department at 973-509-4980.
