Registration is now open for the Montclair Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs Sports Camp. The camp is for kids ages 8 to 14 years of age.
Register online at register.communitypass.net or in person at Montclair Recreation, 205 Claremont Avenue (first floor), Montclair. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Department will be open late on the following Tuesdays: May 28, June 11, 25.

 The Montclair Township Memorial Day tribute will take place Monday, May 27, at 10:00 a.m., in Edgemont Park. Due to construction work in the area of the pond, the ceremony will be held in the field near Edgemont School, accessible by Edgemont Road.
Mayor Robert Jackson will preside as Master of Ceremonies and Rev. Erik Swanson, Redeemer Church of Montclair, will deliver the invocation, the blessing of the wreaths and the benediction. This year's guest speaker will be filmmaker and digital media producer Theresa Loong, whose documentary about her Word War II veteran father, Every Day is a Holiday, was shown at the 2013 Montclair Film Festival. |

 Registration is now open for 2013 Montclair Recreation/Pop Warner Football/Cheerleading for Ages 5-14.
Early Bird Registration Special will be from May 11 -- June 29 ONLY. The Early Bird Special for 1 Child is $125 for Tackle/Cheer and $100 for Flag/Cheer. An additional $25 fee will apply after June 29. Flag fees are for flag football and flag cheer participants. |
