Tuesday, June 23, 2015

Coffee with a Cop logoThe Montclair Police Department Community Service Unit (CSU) continues its highly-successful “Coffee With A Cop” program with two events scheduled for June and July:

Thursday, June 25: 9:00 a.m. at Bonjour Montclair Café and Creperie, 254 Park Street

Friday, July 10: 9:30 a.m. at Trend Coffee and Tea House, 411 Bloomfield Ave

The “Coffee With A Cop” program strives to form partnerships with all Montclair residents and businesses. All too often the community only interacts with police in times of crisis. In an effort to foster positive relationships with the police, the Montclair Police Department is proud to continue “Coffee With A Cop.”

The idea behind “Coffee With A Cop” is to afford the public an opportunity to meet and speak with their local law enforcement professionals in an open and friendly atmosphere.

“Coffee With A Cop” is being successfully conducted by over 175 different police agencies in 36 different states. The public is afforded an opportunity to have questions answered or to just say hello and meet the people that wear the uniform -- all over a delicious cup of coffee.
