Stress Management during COVID-19

Virtual Program- Tuesday July 21st  at 1pm

In this virtual program participants will learn the definition of stress, identify 3 different types of stress, understand the consequences of stress, and learn the negative signs and symptoms of stress and effective coping strategies for dealing with stress during a pandemic.

A fellow MILL student put together the following instructions to make it easier to keep track of all of your Zoom classes:

How to make a shortcut to your desktop on your computer (so that your Zoom link will always be available):

  1. Go to the email that contains the Zoom link for your class
  2. Highlight join Zoom meeting link
  3. Right click on the Zoom meeting link and copy
  4. Go back to desktop
  5. Right click in a blank space on the desktop
  6. Click on new
  7. Click on shortcut
  8. Right click in location box and paste
  9. Click next
  10. Type in what will identify the class for you (examples: Lisy or Body Fusion or Monday 1030 class)
  11. Click finish
  12. You should now have a shortcut Zoom link for the class
  13. You can make a shortcut for every Zoom class you signed up for (just be sure you name it correctly in the shortcut on your desktop)

Comcast Email Issues

Many MILL-related emails have been going to spam, and Comcast emails seem to be having the worst issues.  To (hopefully!) address this issue, log in to your Comcast email account. Within your inbox, click on the “Address Book” tab, and click “New Contact.” Input the email address montclairnjusa@learningstream.com, and click “Save.”
