Notice to All Montclair Parkers

The Montclair Parking Utility management and staff extend our gratitude to everyone for their patience and understanding during this very difficult time. We hope everyone is staying safe and taking all necessary precautions and following safety guidelines put in place.

After a thorough evaluation, we have decided to resume enforcement of parking regulations beginning June 1, 2020. Rule suspensions for meter and permit parking will no longer be in effect as we return to our normal parking regulations.

Effective June 1

  • On-street 1-, 2- and 4-hour parking enforcement will remain suspended.
  • Customers will be required to pay if parked at any parking meter beginning.
  • Parking deck gates will begin functioning again on June 1 at The Crescent and Bay Street decks.

Single Use permits will be accessible online effective 5/22/2020. In addition, permits will be available for pick up at the Crescent Deck from June 1 forward.

Monthly permits will be issued at a 75% discount for the month of June.

  • For any customer enrolled in autopay, please note that a deduction from your account will occur on May 25, as it normally would but will be issued at the reduced cost.
  • Any customer who is not enrolled in autopay, will have until June 14 to remit payment online or by check. The municipal building is still closed to the public so if you do have a check payment, please use the drop box located at the front of the Municipal Building at 205 Claremont Avenue, next to the US Postal Service box. The bill payments box is clearly marked. Your check must be in a sealed envelope with your account information enclosed.
  • We urge everyone to access their accounts online to obtain your permit in a timely manner. If you need assistance logging in, please call Parkmobile at 1-866-524-2334. For access to the website please visit Parkmobile or copy/paste the following URL into your browser:

Parking Rate Increase Effective January 1, 2019

Due to operational increases and the need for ongoing capital investment in the Township’s existing structures, the following increases take effect on January 1, 2019 at the Crescent and Fullerton Decks:

Crescent Deck

Rate increases from $1/hr to $2/hr. Lost ticket cost is $24

Fullerton Deck

Rate increases from $1/hr to $2/hr

Bay Street Deck – Daily Ticket Holders

Enter 3:45AM-6:00PM and exit by 12:15AM = $7 Monday-Friday ONLY
Enter 6:00PM-7:00AM and exit by 7:15AM = $2 per hour, Monday-Friday ONLY
Saturday and Sunday enter any time = $2 per hour
Daily maximum and lost ticket maximum = $24


Parking in Fullerton Deck

All parking meters have been removed from the North Fullerton Deck. Parkers will now have two options to pay for parking.

  • Parkmobile (Pay-by-phone parking). Go to Parkmobile.

  • PayStation – Parkers must remember license plate information in order to pay at PayStations.
