Important Dates For The Upcoming General Election

September 18:
Commencement of mailing of Vote by Mail Ballots for the General Election

October 12:
Deadline to Register to Vote for the General Election

The Township Clerk's Office will be open to receive registration forms until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 12. Download New Jersey Voter Registration Application

October 23 – October 31:
In-Person Early Voting Period. Visit the Essex County Board of Elections website for a list of early voting sites.

October 26:
Deadline to apply for a Vote-by-Mail Ballot by Mail for General Election

November 1 at 3:00 PM:
Deadline to apply for a Vote by Mail ballot in person at the Essex County Clerk’s office

November 2:
Election Day - Polls are open from 6:00 AM-8:00 PM

The New Jersey Division of Elections website lets you find your Ward, polling place, and voting district information by filling out an online form with your: Street Number, Street Name, City and County or Street Address, Street Name and Zip Code. If an exact match is found in the state's records, you will be provided with your Polling Place, Voting Area District and the County Election Official information.
