County Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Day

The Essex County Utilities Authority (ECUA) will hold its fall Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Day on Saturday, October 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Essex County Fleet Management (Public Works), 99 W. Bradford Avenue, Cedar Grove, NJ.

The ECUA Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collections allow residents to bring HHW to a single location for environmentally safe disposal. These are items that cannot be included in regular garbage pickups or brought to local dumps, including common household trash like antifreeze and gasoline, paint, cleaning solvents, and more.

The event is free to all Essex County residents. Essex County residents must provide proof of residency at the site.
