Volunteer at the Shelter

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! We rely on volunteers at the shelter every day of the year to help our staff provide sanitation and enrichment to our animals. Montclair Township Animal Shelter welcomes volunteers aged 16+. 

If you are interested in volunteering in animal care, please fill out one of the applications below.

In addition to our kennel and cat care volunteer opportunities, the shelter often needs help with laundry, facility organization and other tasks.  If you are interested in regular volunteer service in these areas, please reach out to us at MTAS@montclairnjusa.org.
