Tax bills are being mailed as of this week (July 28th - August 1), due to a delay in the Tax Collection office receiving the certified tax rate. As a result - the grace period for the bill has been extended to September 5.
Montclair's comprehensive community public school district serves students in Kindergarten through twelfth grade. The district consists of seven elementary schools, three middle schools and one high school. Each school has a magnet theme. Children do not necessarily attend the school closest to their homes.
