Computers and Electronics Drop-Off

Computers and electronics may be dropped off at the Public Works Yard at 219 No. Fullerton Avenue on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

 

The electronics and computer equipment drop-off is open to residents only!

Electronics/computer equipment will not be accepted from businesses. 
Businesses that want to recycle old computers and electronics must make arrangements with a certified electronics recycler.

Accepted Electronics

  • Audio equipment: microphones, radios, boom boxes, audio/video receivers and processors, CD/DVD/VCR players, tape recorders and tape drivers, amplifiers, mixing consoles, headphones, stereos, speakers
  • Communication devices: telephones, cell phones, modems, satellite dishes, other telecom devices
  • Computers and related components: laptops, tablets, desktops, main frames, e-book readers, keyboards, mice, monitors, disc drives, CPUs (central processing units), motherboards, integrated circuits, circuit boards, wires, cables, power cords, UPS/battery backups
  • Copying equipment: printers, copiers, scanners, fax machines, cameras, camcorders
  • Entertainment devices and media: televisions of any size, electronic gaming devices, CDs, DVDs
  • Personal hygiene devices: toothbrushes, shavers, hair dryers, curling irons
  • Small portable household appliances: blenders, toasters, toaster ovens, microwaves, mixers, irons, fryers, instant pots, slow cookers, bread machines, coffee makers, portable fans & space heaters, vacuum cleaners, sewing machines, hot plates, juicer

 

Not Accepted Electronics

  • Audio and video cassettes
  • Large household appliances, including all that contain refrigerants
  • Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms
