Financial Assistance for Recreation Program Fees & Pool Passes

The Recreation Department requires a letter from the Montclair Board of Education stating that their child is eligible for the free or reduced lunch program. This documentation entitles families who receive a free lunch designation, a reduction of 50%, and reduced lunch designation entitles a reduction of 25% in their program fees.

Families or adults without Board of Education documentation must present their past year's income tax form. Calculations would be determined by the current HUD guidelines as categorized as 25% or 50%.

For those families who have done this in the past, please make sure your Board of Education Letter is updated for this school year 2025-2026.

Please update your Board of Education Letter before registering for any of our programs because for many families the discount ended January 2nd, 2026.
