2026 4th of July Parade & Festival

Update (July 3): Montclair's annual July 4th Parade will still take place tomorrow, rain or shine, as we come together to celebrate America's 250th birthday. Due to the forecasted extreme heat, we've made a few adjustments to help keep everyone safe:

• The Festival at Edgemont Park will be shortened following the parade. Food trucks will remain open, but all other scheduled entertainment and activities have been canceled.
• Water stations will be available along the parade route.
• EMS personnel will be on site throughout the event to assist anyone who feels unwell.

If you're joining us, please take precautions to protect yourself from the heat:

• Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
• Wear lightweight clothing, a hat, and sunscreen.
• Take breaks in the shade whenever possible.
• Check on children, older adults, and others who may be more vulnerable to the heat.
