The Township is awaiting the County's certification of the 2026 tax rate and cannot calculate final tax amounts until it is received. As a result, the mailing of tax bills is delayed. Notice is hereby given, in accordance with P.L. 1975 C.231, the “OPEN PUBLIC MEETINGS ACT”, and pursuant to N.J.S.A 10:4-9, a Special Emergency Board Meeting will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 6:30 P.M . The agenda, to the extent known at this time, will include budgetary issues, attorney-client privileged information, and litigation update re: Kraus v. MBOE. The Board will go into closed session. Action may be taken by the Board. The meeting will take place at the George Inness Annex Atrium, located at 141 Park Street, Montclair, New Jersey.
