EZRides for Montclair Seniors on Election Day

Montclair Senior Services has partnered with EZRide to make voting more accessible for local seniors and residents with disabilities. Registered EZRide members can receive one free round trip to vote during early voting days or a free round trip on Election Day, Tuesday, November 4.

How it works

• Service is available to registered EZRide members in Montclair.
• Each rider can choose one option:
  • A free round trip on an early voting day, or
  • A free round trip on Election Day.

• Both rides, to and from the polling place, are free and do not count toward the monthly 20-ride limit.

• EZRide operates as an on-demand service, so there's no need to book in advance. When calling for a ride, riders must tell the dispatcher they are going to VOTE and provide the location of their polling place.

Why it matters

Transportation challenges often prevent older adults from voting. This partnership helps eliminate that barrier, ensuring Montclair's seniors can fully participate in civic life.
