Affordable Housing Waiting List Reopened

Montclair Township has retained Acuity Consulting Services (ACS) as the new administrative agent responsible for managing the Township’s affordable housing inventory. The waiting list for affordable housing has reopened now that the transition has been completed. People currently on the waiting list have not been removed and have retained their position. One of ACS’s primary roles is to maintain the Township’s affordable housing waiting list for both sales and rental units. As new affordable units come online or currently occupied units become available, ACS will contact the next applicant on the waiting list whose household size, income and residency or employment location matches the unit type.

Applicants must be under the maximum income limit for the available unit and meet other criteria established by State law.
