Construction Notice - Glenridge Parkway & 205 Claremont Avenue

Dear Residents of Glenridge Parkway and Parking Permit Holders at the Municipal Building Parking Lot (205 Claremont Ave),
Please see below two curbing notices for street improvement construction that will be happening this weekend, from Friday October 3rd to Saturday October 4th.
For residents at Glenridge Parkway:
- Work is scheduled to commence on or about Saturday, October 4, 2025 weather permitting.
- No parking will be allowed on the street during the day while construction is in progress. The street may also be closed to traffic at various times during the day.
- If you must use your vehicle(s) during the day, it should be removed from your driveway and parked on a side street by 7:00 A.M.
- Utilities – gas, electric, water will be marked out by the appropriate utility company prior to the start of construction work. Please mark out any private underground sprinklers, invisible fences, heating elements within your driveway or other privately installed items with fluorescent color prior to construction to avoid damage. Also, notify us of other issues such as retaining walls, drainage pipes and/or any other private installations within the Township’s right of way which is approximately 10 feet behind the curb.
For parking permit holders at the Municipal Building Parking Lot (205 Claremont Ave)
- We are asking all parking permit holders to park in the old bank parking lot or surrounding streets from Friday, October 3rd, 2025 (after 6pm) until Saturday, October 4th, 2025 (6pm).
- No parking will be allowed on the street during the day while construction is in progress. The street may also be closed to traffic at various times during the day.
- If you must use your vehicle(s) during the day, it should be removed from your driveway and parked on a side street or old bank parking lot by 7:00pm the night before
- Please mark out any private underground sprinklers, invisible fences, heating elements within your driveway or other privately installed items with fluorescent color prior to construction to avoid damage. Also, notify us of other issues such as retaining walls, drainage pipes and/or any other private installations within the Township’s right of way which is approximately 10 feet behind the curb.
