Dangerous Heat Today, July 30, & Flash Flood Threat for Thursday, July 31st to Friday, August 1st
The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning for the Northeast NJ area for today, July 30, 2025.
- Dangerously hot and humid conditions are expected to continue today, with max heat indices between 95F and 105F.
- An Extreme Heat Warning continues for portions of NE NJ, with a Heat Advisory for the rest of the forecast area today.
- There is also the possibility of flash flooding Thu into midday Fri as an approaching cold front stalls near the area. Showers and thunderstorms this evening through midday Friday could result in heavy rainfall that results in flooding
