Montclair Township and the Department of Sustainability invite residents to a Tree Town Hall on Wednesday, October 14, from 6:30–8:00 PM at Montclair Fire Headquarters, 1 Pine Street.

The community conversation will feature John Anderson, Montclair’s township arborist, who will discuss tree planting, tree care and health, tree types, Montclair’s urban forest and more.

Residents are encouraged to attend, learn more about the Township’s approach to maintaining and protecting its trees, and bring their questions for the arborist.

Healthy trees are an important part of a healthier, more resilient Montclair. The meeting will be filmed and uploaded to Montclair TV 34 YouTube for those who cannot attend in person.

Tree Giveaway: The Department of Sustainability will also be hosting a native tree giveaway, and residents can pickup trees at the tree town hall.

  • IMPORTANT: The reservation form closes October 10!
  • New participants only: Residents who received a tree during the Township’s spring giveaway are not eligible for another tree.
  • Reserve your tree by October 10: Scan the QR code in the 2nd flyer below or go to https://forms.gle/ns6nMKTf5Dekaocs7
