Report: Should Montclair Become A Shuttle Bus Town?
Since January 2025, the Shuttle Bus subcommittee of the Montclair Public Transportation Working Group - made up of Montclair residents, Township Council members, and town staff - has been investigating the possibility of establishing a local shuttle bus program.
The committee has provided an interim report to stimulate conversation within the town and encourage dialogue about shuttle program concepts. Download the report here: Montclair Shuttle Bus Report
The report gives an update on what the committee heard in the town-wide survey and the committee's research and progress so far. Community feedback will help inform next steps and future recommendations to the Township Council.
The committee is also hosting a Public Information Meeting to discuss shutlte bus concepts and to seek feedback. The meeting will be on Wednesday, September 30, 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building (205 Claremont Ave).
