Traffic traveling northbound and southbound on Undercliff Road will not be able to turn onto Gates Avenue until road repairs are completed. Damage from the June 4 water main break in the area is more extensive than originally anticipated. The Montclair Water Bureau apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates residents’ patience while repairs are underway.
In July 2021, Governor Phil Murphy signed into law P.L.2021, Ch.183 , which requires community water systems in NJ to identify all lead service lines, provide public notification regarding the presence of all lead service lines, and replace all lead service lines by 2031.
