The Office of Sustainability is pleased to announce Montclair's Earth Fest 2024.
Event Details:
Date: Sunday, April 28th, 2024
Time:12:00 PM. to 4:00 PM.
Location: South Street Park between Bloomfield Ave. and Church St.
The purpose of Earth Fest is to promote awareness and action towards protecting the planet's natural resources, ecosystems, and biodiversity.
Earth Fest encourages individuals, communities, businesses, and governments to adopt eco-friendly practices, reduce their carbon footprint, and advocate for policies that prioritize environmental protection.
Through various educational initiatives, Earth Fest aims to inform people of all ages about the pressing environmental issues facing our planet and empower them to make positive changes in their daily lives to safeguard the Earth for future generations.
This event is sponsored by Montclair Township's Office of Sustainability, the Montclair Center BID, Drive Electric, Sierra Club, and Montclair Climate Action.
Looking for Volunteers - Earth Fest 4/28 Montclair Township's Office of Sustainability is looking for volunteers for its upcoming Earth Fest event.
Volunteers will have a range of roles, and will be asked to rank the available roles by preference. Roles will be assigned to volunteers on a first come first serve basis. Roles range from running an activity session, greeting the community, helping navigate EV placement, to ensuring trash and recycling bins are kept tidy. If you are available any time on the day of the event, or if you’d like to be involved with planning before the event, please don't hesitate to email mcunliffe@montclairnjusa.org with any questions or if you'd like to sign up.
