Monetary donations are most appreciated. Checks can be made out to "The Township of Montclair" and a notation should be made in the memo section that says "Animal Shelter Donation." Checks for the shelter can be mailed to the Montclair Health Department at 205 Claremont Avenue, Montclair, NJ 07042, Attention: Arlene Karp.

It takes all sorts of products to make our shelter run smoothly. Items that we need and use daily include:
NOTE: no sheets or comforters, please - our washer/dryer is too small. No supermarket plastic bags -- please bring to your local supermarket to recycle.
To donate items you can drop them off at the shelter during our public hours, or leave by the shelter's front door if we're closed (there's a sign in the window that will direct you where to leave bags or boxes)
You can also donate a Kuranda bed to our dogs and cats. Kuranda beds provide a comfortable surface for our animals to sleep on off the cold concrete floor, while being made with easily cleanable and hygienic materials for use with multiple animals. Donate a Kuranda bed.
