Freecycle is a free online network that provides a way to locally give away items you don’t want and to post about items you need. While there are many groups in New Jersey, this grassroots non-profit organization is internationally recognized. Their goal is to promote community recycling and keep usable items out of local landfills.
Under “New Jersey”, the closest group to Montclair is “Essex”. Simply go to this page and click "Sign up/Log in" in the upper right hand corner to post an item you wish to give away or browse for items you or others are seeking.
