The Township is awaiting the County's certification of the 2026 tax rate and cannot calculate final tax amounts until it is received. As a result, the mailing of tax bills is delayed. The Montclair Parking Utility offers a $5 Overnight Visitor Parking Permit that allows for visitors or residents to park overnight in accordance with Township ordinance. The permit is valid only during the overnight restricted parking hours of 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. and is intended to exempt a vehicle from the overnight parking prohibition during those hours.
Overnight Visitor Parking Permits may be purchased online or in person at the Parking Utility Office, located on the first floor of the Montclair Municipal Building, 205 Claremont Avenue, Montclair.
When purchasing permits in person, customers are limited to 10 permits per person. There is a quantity limit of 20 permits when purchased online.
