Montclair's Third Annual Earth Fest Returns April 26th

Free celebration brings residents together to explore eco-friendly alternatives and local environmental initiatives

Montclair Township's Department of Sustainability, the Montclair Center Business Improvement District (BID), and Drive Electric are thrilled to announce the return of Earth Fest, the community's premier sustainability celebration. The third annual event will take place on Sunday, April 26th, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at South Park St (between Bloomfield Avenue and Church Street).

Building on the success of previous years, Earth Fest 2026 promises an afternoon of education, exploration, and inspiration for residents of all ages. The free event brings together the Montclair community to highlight practical ways residents can adopt more sustainable habits, while showcasing the Township's ongoing efforts to create a more resilient community.

What to Expect

Attendees will enjoy a wide array of activities and opportunities to engage with sustainability:

  • Live Music Entertainment: Enjoy a full lineup of local and regional musicians performing throughout the afternoon
  • Interactive Educational Games & Activities: Learn environmental concepts and best practices through engaging, family-friendly activities
  • Vendor & Nonprofit Booths: Discover local businesses and nonprofits leading the charge on sustainable practices and community resilience
  • Live Demonstrations: Test-drive eco-friendly alternatives, including electric vehicles, energy-efficient appliances, and other innovative green technologies
  • Resource Sharing: Connect with local experts and access information about Montclair's sustainability programs and initiatives
  • Tree Giveaway Pickup: Montclair residents are eligible to receive a free tree! Reserve yours here and pick it up at the event!

Earth Fest reflects Montclair's dedication to environmental stewardship and community participation in the transition toward a more sustainable lifestyle. From renewable energy to waste reduction, residents will learn about actionable steps they can take at home and in their neighborhood.
