Recreation & Housing Authority Offices Relocating

The Township of Montclair is relocating two municipal offices to better serve residents and to allow for the creation of a new Senior Citizen Hub on the first floor of 205 Claremont Ave.

Recreation Department

The Recreation Department offices will move from the Municipal Building at 205 Claremont Ave to 219 N. Fullerton Ave, where they will be located alongside the Township’s Department of Community Services.

This relocation allows the Township to begin transitioning space on the first floor of 205 Claremont Ave into a new Senior Citizen Hub, expanding programs and services for Montclair’s senior community.

Montclair Housing Authority (Section 8)

The Montclair Housing Authority (Section 8) office will relocate within the Municipal Building, moving from the first floor to the third floor at 205 Claremont Ave.

The office is located in an access-controlled area. Visitors should use the phone on the wall outside the office to contact staff for entry. Appointments are preferred.

All services will continue without interruption during these transitions. The Township appreciates residents’ patience and looks forward to continuing to serve the community at these updated locations.
