July 31: Following the declaration of a State of Emergency in NJ due to storms and potential flooding, the Municipal Building is closed and non-essential operations have been shut down. Tax bills are being mailed as of this week (July 28th - August 1), due to a delay in the Tax Collection office receiving the certified tax rate. As a result - the grace period for the bill has been extended to September 5.
All meetings will start at 7:00 p.m. on the dates listed below. The Committee will meet remotely if a public health emergency, a state of emergency or a state of local disaster emergency has been declared by the Governor of New Jersey. Details to join remote meetings will be provided on the Development Review Committee webpage and posted on the bulletin board outside the door to the Montclair Township Municipal Building. Otherwise, the Committee will meet in the Council Chamber at the Montclair Township Municipal Building, 205 Claremont Avenue, Montclair, New Jersey. If no business is scheduled, notice of cancellation of these meetings will be made.
