Montclair Township Animal Shelter wants to promote pet fostering so people will temporarily open their homes to pets in need. Even a short-term care homestay can improve a pet’s life.
Humane Montclair produced a new video for MTAS and Lifelong Montclair, featuring local pet lovers, to get fostering information out to the public and introduce Lifelong Montclair’s new Seniors Fostering Senior Pets program.

Why foster?
Pet fostering helps create shelter space and offers pets the chance to experience the love and care they deserve while waiting for their forever homes. It’s also an excellent way for animal lovers who can’t commit to pet adoption to make a difference still and enjoy the companionship of pets without the long-term commitment.
Anyone can apply to foster a pet, so please step forward and make a difference, even if just for a short while.
