Montclair residents may pay their Property Tax, Water Bureau, and Sewer Utility bills online using Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express cards.
There are user convenience fees associated with paying your bill using a debit or credit card. There is no charge for payment by e-check, the Finance Department has eliminated the $ 1.05 online transaction fee.
When the transaction is complete, you will receive a “payment confirmation” email from the processing company. Your payment is now pending, and it will be routed to a clearing house where verification of account information will begin.
As per the Township Ordinance 05-38, a fee of $20 will appear on your next bill for any returned payment for any reason.
