March 10, 2026 Special School District Election Voting Details

• Election Date: Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Purpose: Budgetary Spending Proposal (District Tax Levy Increase)
• Ballot Questions submitted by Montclair BOE: (Click Here(PDF, 264KB))

Every registered voter will receive a Sample Ballot approximately two weeks before Election Day, which will include your designated polling location.

Deadlines to Apply for Vote-by-Mail Ballot

Click here to access the Vote-by-Mail application on the NJ Division of Elections website. 

• Mailed Applications: Must be received by March 3, 2026
• In-Person Applications (County Clerk's Office, Newark): By 3:00 PM on March 9, 2026

If you are registered as an “All Future Elections” Vote-by-Mail voter, your ballot should have already arrived. If you have not received it, please contact the Office of the Essex County Clerk at 973-621-4922.
