Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is a federal agency that operates independently of the Montclair Police Department. Montclair police officers are not immigration agents and do not enforce federal civil immigration laws. The Department follows all applicable directives and guidance issued by the New Jersey Attorney General, which can be viewed at the link above.
